Chuck Greener is a veteran communications leader and a senior advisor to Arena Advisory Group. He has five decades of experience advising Fortune 50 companies, government institutions and national leaders on corporate reputation, crisis management and global government relations.
Chuck previously served as chief of staff to the CEO and chairman of Fannie Mae and later as the company’s chief communications and marketing officer, guiding the organization through the collapse of the U.S. housing and financial markets. At Walgreens Boots Alliance, he was global chief public affairs officer, leading the company’s response during national COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts. Earlier in his career, Chuck led the Washington, D.C. office of Porter Novelli and held roles in the White House and on Capitol Hill.
Chuck holds a B.A. in history and political science from Valparaiso University. He has served as a trustee of the Chicago Botanic Garden, Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep, the National Childhood Cancer Foundation and Children’s National Medical Center. Chuck and his wife of over 30 years, Lisa, have four children and four grandchildren.
